Vision-Guided Fruit Collection
Robot

Developed an intelligent robotics application featuring a Raspberry Pi 5 and a custom YOLO11 Nano model to autonomously detect, classify, and collect fallen orchard fruits. Achieved an 89.1% mean average precision in sorting fruits into edible or rejected categories using a 3-DOF manipulator and homographic matrix calibration.

Robotics Simulation

3-DOF C-Arm Robotic System
for Medical Scanning Simulation

Designed a 3-DOF C-Arm robotic system for medical scanning applications, capable of precise linear and rotary motion to simulate multi-angle imaging around an object. Developed kinematic models using Denavit-Hartenberg parameters and implemented motion control logic to a Raspberry Pi to execute synchronized rotational and translational scans, Showcasing Integrated safety limits, calibration routines, and automated scan parameter control to ensure smooth, repeatable operation. Developed a 3D model of C-Arm in Fusion 360 validating the systems ability to replicate essential functionality of clinical C-Arm imaging systems.

Programmed and simulated an ABB IRB 120 industrial robot in RobotStudio to perform automated plate cleaning tasks. Designed optimized joint trajectories using forward and inverse kinematics.

Robot Simulation

A ROS2 4-Wheel-Drive Mobile Robot Simulated in Gazebo and visualized in RViz. This robot integrates LiDAR and RGB camera sensors and supports teleoperation, providing a complete baseline for mobile robot perception, motion, and system bringup.

Deep Learning

Medical Insurance Prediction
using Hybrid Neural Network

Developed and compared three neural network architectures which are MLP, RBF Kernel Regressor, and CNN for medical insurance cost prediction and binary image classification. Achieved ~86.7% R² on tabular regression and 86.1% training accuracy on image classification tasks.

I am a Robotics Engineer with expertise in simulation development, narrowing the sim-to-real gap by creating high-fidelity virtual environments to accelerate robotic testing and deployment. I am particularly passionate about reinforcement learning and imitation learning, exploring control strategies that enable safer, more human like interactions. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering from NITTE University. I also conducted Deep Learning based research on video event recognition and text generation at NITK under Dr. Dinesh Naik, where I worked on YOLO, InsightFace, OCR, pose estimation, and LLM-based video captioning systems. When I'm not building robots, you can find me traveling, playing chess and badminton, or exploring new cuisines around the city.
